Both were reframed by Snyder Gallaries in Charlotte, NC to match. Photo quality of subject matter is excellent in both paintings; mat inside both frames is the same - "light cream off white". Images match actual paintings best with monitor at maximum brightness. Price $ 400.00 each.

Click on image to enlarge. Pastel. Dimensions: 33 3/4 x 28 3/4. Purchased from Blue Heron Gallery, Wellfleet, MA on Cape Cod in July 1985. Lois Griffel is a color impressionest. She is a former director of The Cape Cod School of Art. She used to live in Provincetown, Mass., Cape Cod; presently in Green Valley Arizona. According to her website, she presently gives workshops at various sites around the country. Pastel must be hand delivered, will not ship. Price: $ 650.00.

The picture depicts an "earlier era", perhaps pre-automobile. Cloudy skys must show what a lot of "Cape Cod skys" are like. Ben Neill's composition and brushstrokes make the image look real, almost photographic. Really nice detail and composition. Well done by a good and qualified artist. Price: $ 300.00.
