A collection of fine art purchased from twenty six different galleries around the United States during the decade of the 1980s.Excellent paintings from well respected American artists and European artists.
Important Note: We are reluctant to point out that at least three of the European artists are deceased, but to the collector this fact adds value to the piece.
List of Artists.
Artists are listed within the geographic areas of our website. Our Art Site is divided by location and our perception of where the artist lives and/or did the work we purchased. In general, with a few exceptions, this idea worked.
Claude Gaveau Jacque Valarode Christian Jereczek Louis Dali Liliana Frasca
The owners of the art on this website are private individuals. We have been art collectors for years. We live in Metro Atlanta.
There are 43 paintings shown here for sale. All were purchased, in the USA, one at a time at various galleries in areas known for quality art. For years, any where we traveled we sought out the art galleries. All paintings are originals from known artists in their areas. Some paintings are by artists nationally and internationally known. We like them all! Most are in excellent condition. The time period of our purchases is between 1981 and 1991. At one time, our collection was several times the size it is now.
Many of our paintings would make great Christmas gifts. Camille Lesne's or Alain Thomas paintings are perfect "little jewels" for a spouse; also Michele Battut. All pieces on the Cape Cod page capture the essence of Cape Cod; in particular the Anne Packard. Carolyn C. Wolf is inexpensive, yet a masterfully done abstract. Ralph Baker, Jane Shuss, Lilliana Frasca paintings, like the others mentioned, are fresh, pleasant, refreshing and above all, well done. It is hard for us, the owners, to say we like one more than the other.
